Finished NaNo several days ago (yay!) but the story is less than halfway done, so I'm still working on it. I really really want to finish it

Congrats on your Nano going so well! <3 Sounds like we're in a similar place, slithering snakefest of plots, not actually finished per se, but really enjoying it in our ways. Pretty cool, huh? XD Ah, I hope one day I get to see something you've written again. Also, as a random sidenote-Thing, you seriously absolutely must read Vurt. It is made of teh awesome and I think you'd love it.
ohhh Vurt does look like it's right up my alley. I'm definitely putting it on my list.
Hah, as soon as I finished something worth reading, I will show you if you like. I'm hoping this story will be such a thing when it's done.
How is the progress coming on your story? Are you making goals like daily word counts or anything, or are you just letting it go and trusting the story to finish itself?
Excellent, I'm glad I'm on track with making the rec ;)
I would be honoured to read anything by you, you're a pretty good writer you know XD But I understand there's a while to go yet. ^^; I'm hoping to add mine to the things to be published by Lost Violet Press list -- eventually. ;)
Hmm, for December I'm not sure how I'll tackle the story. I mean, I definitely want to keep that momentum up of writing something every day. (i'm at 77k for the end of nanowrimo but I'm not writing stuff in order, just sitting down and visualising scenes and seeing where they go at the moment; editing will be for putting the giant jigsaw puzzle together!) I signed up at nanofimo.org, but I'm not confident given the way I'm working that I'll even _finish_ the darn thing by December, heh. There's also always novel_in_90, which asks for 750 words a day over a 90 day period; that might be doable. I think I might be able to go it alone for a while now, though, running on my own steam. Short answer (meep!) I'm not sure *laughs* What about you? Do you have any such

I think I'm just winging it myself at this point, and I've been doing a pretty good job. I'm shooting for at least 1,667 words a day, but I finally created an outline of the remaining story at the end of November, and now I'm more trying to write to each checkpoint in the outline during a sitting. Sometimes I'll get several sittings in a day, depending on how difficult one part is to chug through. And I guess that seems to be working pretty well, because I'm still working on it and I still really really want to finish this and make it publishable. 0__0
