yeah a few people were bitching that school wasn't winding down then, it was graduation weekend and more hectic than ever.
but jeremy said he's more concerned with avoiding sakura con weekend because he feels like more of his people go there and not fanime
i'm going to reserve hotel rooms for AO sometime this week. three rooms again? i think that should cover all our bases and i can alwase canel as it gets closer
I think three sounds good. I know Marrki and I are planning on going. Lacey doesn't know.
I don't think I'm competing at AO (depends on what the rules are when he posts them), but I am willing to go. With Sakura Con and AO a whole month apart it should be easier.
This may actually work better for us in the Seattle area, since originally AO was to be a week before Sakura Con.
Now things have changed. This may give me a chance to go see Kei-Con in February in Victoria! Then SC, then AO, wow!
I do not mind going to AO now instead of Fanime Con, skipping cons in Cali is no big deal to me anymore.
I'll talk to Hector, Klint and Jeff and see what they want to do about a room: if they want to be a part of the usual hotel group or if they want to do it separate--only so if they have financial difficulties they could pay me later and not have to wait till last few days to get money to you.
I think although it may get a bit bigger now, it's a good move.
they could alwase start now, like sending $20 every month or something. by the time we get to AO, they should be pretty close to the room total and only have a little if any left.
i love fanime so much though. i get to see all my CA friends there.
