I have decided to take a break from office work for a while and do something menial. The great thing about the labour shortage is now the menial jobs pay about the same as non-managerial office jobs. The thought of having a job that I can leave at work at the end of my shift appeals to me right now, especially since I have other things on my mind.

It's not late, the usual heavy thoughts that accompany impair states of mind are keeping me busy. This blissful state of easinesss is very addictive. Life with my boy is very easy. Work is busy and getting busier - I'm moving into the sales department and keeping my original role until we move into the new building.

I have just been given my first slow cooker! So I am attempting to slow cook some pea and ham soup from scratch and it smells wonderful.

It's so not worth the hassel.

It's been a fairly quiet weekend, caught up with Henchman and Lukette and some other friends while the boy went to speedway.
