Christmas type stuff from Rilke and question

A few weeks ago when I quoted Rilke (he's always good for a quote on a slow LJ day) about solitude I came across this again and wondered about it then. I can't speak to the theological correctness of it. But I like the last being first....Alpha and Omega......arrive where we started and know the place for the first time. He exists yet He does not, He is here yet He is coming, He dies and is alive,

which is to say....my head hurts.

and my head hurts too, especially my brain.

but it's fun to *try* to understand such things, even if we never get anywhere.
