It's awful that there are companies willing to kick people when they're down. I met with a home saver group & they could have taken advantage of me. But my mom & her bf came with me, so the guy was honest & told me I'd be better off going through a non-profit to try to renegotiate my mortgage. They were gonna charge me $1500 & I still wouldn't get anywhere on my mortgage costs because I don't qualify without a decent income. Bastards!

This recession has really brought out the worst in a lot of people. I just don't get it....
