BTW: Do you have anything resembling an RSVP list? We're going to have to buy a bunch of ingredients in larger units than we need, so we can probably bring an arbitrary amount of crust or at lest the recipe and ingredients for more :).
I also threatened you with Cranium. That one is good for a roomful.
Ah, RSVPs. Counting on my fingers, I think I've gotten around 12 firm or likely RSVPs. Some may not come. Others might. Hard to say. I think somewhere between ten and twenty is a safe bet. Let me know if you would like to share the crust burden. I was kind of assuming we would have under ten, like last time, when I asked you. :-)
I don't know how many pizzas feed that many people...
Oh! I was assuming most of the crust would be your normal wheat crust for the most excellent pizzas you've been eating lately. I think I was confusing on that point. No need to inflict wheat-free crust on the whole group. :-)
Let me know what the ingredients are - I might have them in reasonable quantities.
I have no idea if you've tried something like it. It's a bit involved. You're more likely to have the ingredients than we are b/c we're trying to use up our staples :).
As for the crusts we've been making, we could easily bring 4 14" pizzas worth -- two whole-wheat and two cornmeal (the recipe makes two pizzas worth of crust). If it's not all used, well, it keeps pretty well, and we can just go home and make more pizzas with what's left.
Of course, that's still probably not enough if there are 20 people :).
So... I guess going shopping for you on Saturday night at Exhale is in order. I'm also wondering if I might be able to coax you and Tristan out of your lair on Friday night for an evening of dancing and merriment. Any interest ;-)?
Oh. My. God. Can I even begin to tell you how much I haven't EVER run into anyone at Exhale I'd even be interested in having a conversation with? (Okay, maybe I'm really picky...) For me to be interested in someone (yes, even just for sex), they have to be smart enough to keep my interest (and that takes a bit of doing), worldly, open... and at least a compatible kind of freak to mine. Okay, so I haven't talked with *all* the girls at Exhale, but still. Oh, and there's that thing about I can't really drink at all for the foreseeable future. Make a bar pickup ill-advised. Anyway, enough ranting about Exhale. Thanks for offering to shop for me. Maybe you'll have better luck? :-)
I'd love to hang out for dancing and merriment. This Friday, I'm going to a housewarming/ice cream/sunset watching party - you'd be welcome to come with me, if you like. Cool people, home-brew mead. Built-in designated driver (sigh). As far as I know, Tristan is busy, but you might ping him.
Yes, that was part of the plan (shorts). I actually have dinner with a potential roommate, then the new cigar bar, then I was going to try dancing at Sidewinders or Exhale (because I'm desperate!). I need to dance and this town has no place to dance. I so want to have some Jenny time--you're too enjoyable a person for as little as I see you.

The wheat-free pizza crust recipe I wanted to try is here:

And by the way, I want my shorts back...

P.S. -- I was totally joking about Exhale. :-)

I'm not clear what I'm being blamed for, however. It seems I'm getting credit for something, but I can't tell if it is good or bad...

That got me through High School, that did. It is a good strategy, I heartily recommend it. :-)
