I was wandering through the cemetery earlier this evening (I am not the kind of person prone to visiting cemeteries of an evening, but the weather was nice, I was out for a walk and it rather led there through the meandering process that unplanned walks often take). ...and one which I have similarly had over the years. Well, maybe not quite exactly that thought, but skirting around the same sort of theme.

I love exploring cemeteries (though I must say a distinct lack of time in my life these days prevents me from doing this very often at all), and particularly REALLY exploring them. I mean, I enjoy walking around and reading gravestones, checking out ages of inhabitants, how they died (if it is mentioned), when they died, etc, etc, etc. There are so many extremely old graves around that are so neglected, and yet there are others of similar age that seem clean, and well-kept. Why is this??? Do some of these people have long-living ancestors who still care to come visit? And what if there is/are flowers on them...who put those there?

As you can see, there are others who think on similar tracks to yourself.
