Location: The border of Sector 7 & 4 (reference)
Hours: 24/7
Layout: An open, circular enclosure spanning the size of a football field. The gate is wrought iron, the surrounding wall is stone. There is a stone path that leads to a maple tree (reference) at the center. The tree is surrounded by stone benches. From the center are several stone paths leading towards the outer wall, and on either side of the paths are rows of stone markers (reference).
Blueprint:
Security: The memorial center is enchanted with various protection spells by atrumcanis. These enchantments begin at the outer wall and gate.
The Markers: Every marker bears the name and the date of arrival of newcomers who either died in or disappeared from Siren's Port. When approached, a blue 3-D image of the newcomer's face will appear above the marker with a neutral expression. The image will disappear again once the visitor moves away. New markers are added on a bi-monthly basis.
Visitation Rules:
. Anyone is welcome to visit the NMC at any time. There is no admission fee.
. Violence on the grounds is prohibited and enforced by enchantment. Upon detecting violent action, the enchantment will teleport the offender(s) to the baseball field.
. Vandalism towards the grounds is prohibited and enforced by enchantment. Upond detecting vandalism, the enchantment will teleport the offenders(s) to the baseball field.
. Projectiles (elemental, physical, etc.) aimed at the Center will dissolve upon encountering an invisible force field enchantment. The memorial is not responsible for any dissolved projectiles.
. Leaving offerings at the shrines and/or "dressing up" a shrine by planting flowers is permissible. However, offerings must not encroach upon a neighboring shrine's space and it is not permitted to paint a shrine in any fashion. Attempts to paint a shrine will be detected by the security enchantment as vandalism.
