Ugh I know, I fucking hate their countless album/single versions (remember Traveling Man? There were seriously 298302983 versions) but the thing is Japanese JE fans are fucking crazy and will eat ramen for a month just to be able to buy up every single version of everything. Usually when JE pulls gay-ass multi-version content-bare releases I do what my instinct tells me and pirate the shit out of things but this is TOKIO which is one of the few groups on the face of this planet who I am willing to actually buy with my hard earned $8.50 an hour wage. Tbh the 'extra dvd' in most JE albums sucks dick, except for the ONE footage that came with ARASHIC (Arashi sure knows how to put out non-faggotry albums i have to say) so I usually opt for the other editions that have a nice booklet. But in the end it's all going to end up on jpopsuki anyway.

I know this is one of the only times I wish I was a japanese fan like everyone else and was okay with that and it's the WORST that it's tokio and i just can't bring myself to pirate it because ilthem so much.

I think the dvd extras' quality depends on the record label, like KinKi Kids gets the best dvd extras (srsly some could be sold seperately) but they're on Johnny's Entertainment and Arashi and KAT-TUN are both on j-storm or "j-one" or w/e and i'm pretty sure kat-tun's releases had cool things i didn't buy so idk for sure and even dots gave out paper fish but unfortunately the other groups like V6 and TOKIO are under record companies who are like no love.

Yeah I just decided to buy ltd because the two song disc has a better chance of being ripped and uled to a tracker. :[

What ever happened to the simple days when there was at most 2 versions and both contained exactly the same thing?

Avex sucks a dick and Universal is no better but I guess JE is also upset at TOKIO's dismal sales in comparison to everyone else so they feel that the only way they can break even or something is to release 20 versions.

I don't blame you, I only buy one version of Arashi and I'm not above not buying a certain Playzone soundtrack if I have the songs already and decide that the songs aren't that good.
