So I've been writing entries and deleting them becauses I keep thinking "nobody really cares." Which is pretty much true...I would just make them all private, except it seems to kind of defeat whatever weird voyeuristic purpose there is to this. ah dacey and conor, i love that both of you work at the zoo. along with kristin and lawrence and all those other lincolnites. lincoln is sadly underepresented at the zoo. dacey, it's good seeing you around camp!! yayyyy zoo!

Had you checked your cell messages (HAH!) you would have known that I invited you to ice cream with Ali and I last thursday, or at least I'm assuming you didn't check your messages, because the alternative might hurt my fragile self esteem.

I called you properly (ie: at your home number) but got your mum. Anyways, she told me about the date change, and that works just as well.

I looked through your archive and found this. Wowww. Uh oh. This is the camp that I am most definitely working in as a Camp Counselor. I wasn't sure about 2nd graders, but I didn't really have a choice - it's the job that's the closest to home, I am guaranteed 40 hrs/week, a lot of Outdoor School people that I know work there and like it, and it pays $9/hour, which isn't that bad. So now I'm responsible for ten 2nd graders for like 4-5 hours alone in the Zoo and it is really scaring me. I guess some of the time I'll have a Junior Counselor (now called the more PC term "Camp Assistants") that I'll be in charge of to have there to help, but stillll.
I'm working about 9 weeks. It's going to be a loooong summer.
