I just left now.

Eerie place. There had to have been some sort of disaster there. The bodies are likely washed away from...

[pen taps]

I don't know. Maybe after the volcano went off, or something along those lines.

I will admit that it's not the best welcome to a place such as this, Rogue. Quite a nice name, if I may say so myself. Mine's Grift.

There might be another volcano, or there might have been some disaster upstream. But they were so evenly distributed - if current had put them there some would be floating, some would be partly out of the water... They wouldn't all be facing up like they're waiting for something.

Well, I've been here a couple of days, so at least this wasn't the first thing I saw. Hell of a thing to wake up to, though. Hello, Grift.

It's what I was called in the dream - rogue leader, actually, but it's a bit pointless to be the leader of one.

Then somebody must have put them there. Some sort of twisted ritual, or something along those lines. That, or the Wilderness just feels fit to toy with us. I'll have to warn you that it does that on occasion.

Ah, only a couple of days. Well, I'll extend to you the offer that I extend to all others upon their unlucky arrivals--Smoke's is a bar, and I happen to work there. Drop by sometime. Anybody who's thrust into this mess needs a drink or two, I say.

Oh? Well, well, well. Planning on bringing a little revolution to our home, then?

Ugh. And it looks like someone got attacked by whatever lives here, too. I'm glad I left before whatever those things are made an appearance.

I might just take you up on that. Maybe more than two.

[ping!] I'd rather not. The dream didn't have any revolutions in it as far as I could tell - I was part of a squadron called the Rogues, and I must have led it.
