I try to leave the bigger items for the younger Scavengers. You lot just have more energy to spend dragging them out into the elevator. I'm good at scrounging smaller things, if I can rank myself. Here's the noncommisioned stuff I've picked up in the last week.
There was something like a metric ton of glassware, more or less in the same spot. Some of it's intact, though it needs a wash. With an urban Wilderness like this I don't think anyone's in need of cups or bottles and so on, but if you really want, say, an empty crystal phial with a skull-shaped stopper, jot me a note.
Someone killed or deactivated a golem, and there were some interesting metal trinkets in the wreckage. There's a blade - I don't know if it would be a narrow little dagger or a sword meant for someone the size of my hand, but there's a somewhat loose red stone in the pommel.
Three [pause] I guess these would be trophies, or idols. Or just small statues on bases. They're winged humanoids and look to be of the same make, and the same general size and proportions on each one. I think there were placards on all of them at one point, but those're gone now.
The golem had a very powerful magnet somewhere in its chest. It was also very heavy, so I left it in the Yard, but the place was marked, if anyone wants to be able to pick up paperclips without bending down. Getting it to a spot free of any big ferromagnetic scraps was a trial, I'll tell you that.
There's also some sort of box or case, not very big, and not magnetic. About [Dimensions of the thing, in centimeters and then converted into inches.]. It's very tarnished, but I think it might be silver. Maybe. Haven't tried scouring it or anything. There's something carved into it - a little hard to read under the layer of tarnish, but that's definitely a "Sybil".
[Pause.]
Okay, it's more or less readable in better light. "To Sam, with love from your Sybil."
