There's
a meme going around where you draw your teenaged self. The image of myself that I carry around in my head has got stuck somewhere in the region of 1993, so I thought this might be fun.

I found this particularly enjoyable as it was the first time I've ever used the Wacom tablet on Paul's computer. I was an art student at the time of this drawing, and I was always being told off for using coloured pencils instead of "proper" art materials. I haven't done much sketching over the past fifteen years (constantly being told that you can't draw can do that to a person), but I am amused to find that I've made a drawing that still looks as though it might have been done in coloured pencils. Clearly I am just a scribbly kind of person!
I need to do a lot of practice with the pen mouse gadget if I ever want to improve with the Wacom, but mostly I want to go straight back to my sketchpad, and scribble on it with some coloured pencils. It's what I enjoy, so "proper" art materials be damned.
