It?s turning out to be a typical summer for me: hot, unemployed, spending my time at all night drinking parties (you wouldn't believe how many naked drunken people you can fit on a full sized bed).

The problem is that I?m trying to have a different kind of summer. You know, one driven by enjoyment and not apathy.

I was at a party the other day. About 8 of us were outside smoking. One of my friends asked, "how many of you have degrees?" 6 of us raised our hands. My friend thought that that was pretty interesting until someone else chimed in. "That?s not the question to ask. It?s, 'how many of you with degrees are still unemployed?'" 4 of us raised our hands. Yeah, that's where I?m at right now. Sad, sad, sad...

If I can get my lazy butt off the bed I?ll try and record this summer?s debauch on my lj. It should make for some funny reading?
