Pretties!!!
I got to play in Matthew's garden again, and I have new pretties!
I have fresh garlic AND cast iron skillets. I'm gonna make pesto with some of the garlic and then preserve the rest. Plus, on Friday, Matthew's gonna show me exactly how to take care of the cast iron. So excited. Wiggling-with-joy-excited.

This is Matthew working in the garden. *swoon* Is happy. Things to notice: the fence and a "cage" for his catnip that he made.
I didn't get a picture of the little patio area he made. You can see a little bit of one of the benches in the second picture. There are two benches facing each other over a little patio that made with bricks that he found with a trellis over one of the benches onto which he's coaxing a vine. Is so pretty. It begs a blanket, cup of coffee/tea, and a book at dawn or twilight.
I love when I get to work in it with him, and the fact that he shares this thing that he enjoys so much with me. Sometimes I worry that I'm aggravating to him because I don't really know what I'm doing, and in typical Elissa fashion, I'm worried about messing something up (which is probably more aggravating than me not knowing in the first place). I love helping out (or at least pretending to), even just a little bit. It makes me happy, and I look forward to it every time.
