Our tropical fish tank, currently overpopulated because our cherry barbs had babies, used to have 3 zebra danios. Now we have none. One of them seemed became ill awhile ago, developing a kink in it's back that screwed up it's ability to swim in a straight line. Had no idea fish were so much work, alchemy and all. Wouldn't it be easier to cook meth?

Possibly. However, there is a much smaller chance of fiery explosions in keeping an aquarium. Normally fish are really very easy to care for. You get the right set up for them, let the nitrogen cycle establish itself in the tank, get some fish. Feed them at least every other day and you're all good. If it was as much of a hassle as so many things I've read online suggest, we'd probably have given up.
