I had thought I'd be taking a long (2 week) international trip at the end of February, but now that's been called off. But it did get me thinking that I'm capable and interested in something like that. It must be time to start planning something ( Read more... )

The only reason I still have a motorcycle is that I dream of that sort of trip. I really want to ride through Yosemite, and that isn't even far away.

Wait what? I didn't know you were motorcycle enabled.

If you're the sort of person who wants some help w/ company and motivation for that ride, I'd totally take a weekend to do it.

What kind of bike do you have?

I have an awesome old Honda CB750. I haven't ridden it in a year. It needs some love now. I think it needs a new master cylinder and a general tune up. My current plan is to put some love into it and then sell it. We'll see, I am perpetually on the fence about giving it up. Jim also rides, he has an 80's BMW.
