So I'm off this week, no getting up at 5 or 7am (7am is for the weekends when I get to work from home) I actually got to sleep in this morning. Pam has gone to Ottawa for the weekend and I have lots of projects around the house to do, including widing the other side of the driveway. I love meteor showers!!!!

My dad has such great seats for watching too. I love watching the stars so much, I asked for a telescope for a wedding present. LOL! (Never got it though. :( )

hmmm I thought I responded to this but I guess it didn't go through.

The peak was atually sunday night, and I was going to suggest that you go out of watch the sky as well on sunday night... however that is now in the past. Oh well you can still see them for about 2 weeks before and after the peak... its just that he peak makes it pretty damn easy to see them.

I was sitting out on the deck at a friend's new house, and she saw a shooting star Sun night...perhaps a leftover from Sat night? Neat anyhow! :)

Oooh, and since you're a local, do you have any idea where the Scottish bakery is in Whitby? I had been it was in the Dundas/Garden St area- but I couldn't find it today...

Yah- that sounds about right (the location of the place) Didn't even think to google it, I just drove all the way across Dundas, thinking I could find it! *LOL* I know it was up and running earlier this year b/c my roomate's sister brought us some goodies from there- but things may have changed since then! Who knows...how are things going for you guys in Whitby? How are you enjoyinh your holiday? :)
