So, yesterday we went and performed at Pageant. We took second (we lost to Sandia), and we got People's Choice, Best Brass and Best Percussion. Some people were disappointed, but I'm not. I'm thrilled. We're in division 4A this year, and it's the first time, I believe in the history of Pageant that we were in 4A (every other year we've been 3A ( Read more... )

Yeah, it was Shallow Pockets. The two existing demos from that era are actually not among my favorite of those songs. Sheep Parade has been around for a little while, but we haven't been able to play any shows, and we've been hesitant to record, because we need a bass player. Hopefully these demos will help us get one. There are about eight or so, and although, like I said, the vocals and horns are usually better than they are on the recording. But the songs themselves are not bad songs, and hopefully I can get them online or something soon.
