[[Some things just can't go down well]]

Belize has been worrying - not that it's anything different for him.  Norman Arriaga, Belize to his friends, and to everyone he's met so far at the Mansion, has been having strange dreams - dreams full of hope and angels, full of information about the cure for the plague which hit his best friend, full of forgiveness for the monster that Roy Cohn ( Read more... )

Sansa had just woken from her nap, feeling as fresh as ever. As soon as she had woken up, she decided to do a little more exploring. She mostly wanted to find Robb, since they hadn't spoken for a while.

She goes into the common room and notices Belize reading. Another unfamiliar face, one that doesn't look any dangerous.

"Hello," Sansa smiles, deciding to introduce herself, "names Sansa Stark."

.... whoa.

Belize snaps out of his book, looks at the girl, and double-takes. "... Hi." A pause, and he adds, "I'm Belize. You're Sansa -- Robb's sister, right?"

"Sorry if I caught you off guard," she pauses then when he mentions Robb.

"Wait, you know my brother?"

"Yeah - been hanging out with him a bit." Belize smiles. "He's a good kid. Have a seat. We'll talk."

It's not really presumptuous of Belize, considering he's almost thirty, and could almost be old enough to be Robb's father. Besides, he speaks of Robb with undeniable affection. There's loyalty in there.

Have you met any of these before, Belize? Because we feel like you should. So here's a Cleeg, wandering in from outside, frowning in that unhappy, vaguely troubled way of his, and looking for something to nibble on.

One of those long pointy things belted to his hip that you love so much, too.

Belize and Celegorm have indeed never met, though Belize insists that there is enough crazy in his life as is. And we're happy to ignore his complaints.

He's still reading over here. Cleeg is going to have to trip on something to get Belize to react - after all, blowing a cover isn't all that cool.

He's usually grateful, but we'll put it up to the distraction that he drops a plate, which breaks. He curses and comes wandering out of the kitchen, picking ceramics out of his hands after attempting to sweep it up without the benefit of a towel.

"Do you know where there's a broom?"

Belize looks up from his book, eyes Celegorm, the mess, and politely points to the broom closet with a quirky, amused eyebrow before returning to his reading.

Jaenelle has been making little noises about wanting to see Belize again, and is going to go looking for him, chewing her lower lip nervously. Eventually, however... she pauses, in the doorway, looking as small and blonde and innocent as usual, eyes clear and entirely ordinary blue.

"Um - excuse me?"

Belize looks up, and takes a couple seconds to identify the figure - ah, yes, the blond chick from the duel.

"Ah, hi. Chantelle, right?" He smiles a little - after all, they were in agreement, that day.

A bit of a tiny smile. "Jaenelle, but close." A brief pause. "You look fairly well."

"Heh, sorry. Introductions were done sketchily at best, that day. I'm Belize, by the way."

Felix has been dreaming again - worse than usual, that is. Because Malkar has been figuring larger and larger in them, and they get nastier and more violent all the time. Something feels wrong about them, but he's doing his very best not to think about that, not wanting to get close to any of the many implications that might have.

So here's a jumpy red-haired wizard wandering around the Mansion, who might eventually run into Belize.

Still reading over here! Though Belize met his brother, and has reasons to talk to Felix about Mildmay, and does want to talk to Felix about Felix as well.

If Felix wanders over his way, Belize will cough. Purposely.

Felix jumps and turns, truly startled. "Oh - good afternoon." He gathers himself, a bit.

"Hey." Belize gives him a bit of a smile. "You okay, Felix? You look jumpy."

Viradechtis enters the room first, and though she sees Belize she doesn't acknowledge him for a few moments. Instead she pauses and stretches with a huge yawn, then gives her ear a good scratch and shakes her coat out before deigning to notice Belize and going over to lay just within arm's reach. She knows that Belize and Isolfr have argued, though she isn't entirely certain what the problem was. She's a smart wolf but being a wolf she has difficulties understanding the subtleties of human interaction at times. Isolfr enters the room as his sister settles and pauses for a moment when he sees Belize, and the smile he gives him is a little hesitant. They didn't exactly part on good terms and Isolfr isn't sure if Belize is still upset. "Hey."

Belize gives Isolfr a smile back, it's just as quiet and tentative as his, and looks at Viradechtis, almost pained. "Hey." A beat, and Belize adds, "s'been a while."

He's not upset - he never was, really, aside from that us/them dichotomy bit, which would have been easier to swallow had there not been Sandor to deal with on top of that.

"Yeah." He goes over to sit across from Belize and asks as bluntly as a wolf, "Are you still upset, over the duel?"

Blunt is good. Blunt saves time and trouble. Blunt is straightforward and honest, if painful. Belize can deal with that.

"Depends what you call upset, Isolfr," Belize replies quietly. "But I'm not upset with you, or with Robb, if that's what you're asking."

In fact, I miss you. Can we please not argue?
