Belize's pockets are almost empty - he's carrying (a habit, he keeps on bumping into sick people from Melusine) some aspirin and some sleeping pills, a paper clip and eyeliner.
He would not know that he's being pick-pocketed - even if most New Yorkers actually do know to expect it. He's just lost the habit.
And Locke is really fast. Consequently, Belize will be relieved of all of the contents fairly quickly. Locke examines them, looks at Belize, and then coughs, politely.
Here are twins, though not those you're looking for, Locke. They're talking to each other in hushed voices, in Sindarin. Both are subdued and look almost sheepish, actually.
Their pockets are empty - but watch out, Locke. Elves have remarkable senses - you might get caught on this one.

A bit of a smile, even if Belize hasn't seen this guy in a while. He didn't mind Locke - a bit weird, though.
And I don't remember what pseudo Locke used with Belize. HOW INCONVENIENT.

His mouth quirks. "Rather has been, hasn't it?"

His pockets are filled with love notes to Mina, but there's also a quill and his opium kit.
He hasn't noticed Locke yet. If he looses quill and pipe, he will be very unhappy, but we don't mind.

He's asking archly. Because he has a fair idea.

Anita wanders in and plops next to him wordlessly, before she puts her head on his shoulder in the most sisterly fashion possible.
She missed her crazy little brother.

He hides the worry fairly well, but does snug her a bit closer.
