things were getting a little quiet...

Karla gets bored rather easily, these days, and restive Karlas are dangerous Karlas. Sort of.

Since nobody eats food left out anymore, that makes things a little more challenging. That's all right! Challenging is good! Karla likes a good challenge. Hence, this morning denizens of the Mansion might find themselves victim of a particular kind of fun ( Read more... )

Felix has been weirdly jumpy lately. Some tea will help calm him down, right? Right?

Not so much. He's now nearly hysterical and staring at himself in horror because seriously what. His body feels completely different, and he's even more anxious than he was. Aaugh.

He is a pretty girl, though, much as he's a pretty boy. Benefits of being attractive, we suppose. And his eyes are still particolored.

And here comes a boyfriend, who will not recognize his beloved at first, because he is a distracted fellow, like that. He will, however, bow very politely as he wanders in to take some thing in the freezer. "Bonjour, Madame."

She is lovely. Very lovely. And he's not allowing himself to notice more. He's committed to his lover. Yes he is.

Oh dammit. Oh oh oh dammit. Felix looks, if possible, even more alarmed, and wraps his arms around himself, even more wide-eyed skittish. "Pascal?" Aaaaaaaugh.

This is so not on!

... he stares, wondering if he's ever met this beautiful being and suddenly, the yes and the hair...

He's seen him young. It's not far-fetched. It's unlikely -- no, not even that. It's very possible.

... "Felix?"

Celegorm usually knows better. (Okay, sometimes.) But today...he thought about tea, but then walked on through the room. He needed to get back to Irisse, all right? Some things more important than others.

Unfortunately, there is now a black dog, much like a German Shepherd, standing nervously by the kitchen, tail tucked down and a little alarmed at the sudden change in view, not sure whether to growl or go bounding elsewhere looking for someone to play with.

.... she only wanted to try something else. Prune-flavored tea seemed like such a good idea!

Alas, Angelique is now a boy, in 19th century dress. Of course, nothing is where it should be. There's a gap in her corsage, her hair is suddenly shorter, and something down there exists... that definitely should not.

The shriek that leaves the boy's mouth sounds like a girl screaming. Even if his voice will be deeper than Angelique's normally would be.

Assuming the effects wore off some hours ago, Jaime wanders into the room, fully equipt with... one working hand and a stub. Yaaay, stub.

He is welcomed with the sound of a man screaming. He always hated that sound (and other V for Vendetta references as well). Jaime turns, "Ser...?" Visibly, he's wincing.

'Ser' has both hands on his chest, on his empty, alarmingly flat chest. "I -- am not a --- Oh mon dieu. On mon dieu...."

We're sorry, Jaime. This is excessively distressing for the little ingenue. She really loves being a girl.

Jaime pshhaws and moves forward, putting his hands on Angelique's shoulders. "Calm down, boy, and tell me what's wrong."

Kingsguard face. Babies in tretchubets and other srsbsnss things, Jaime's Kingsguard face is the 'let's get things done, no funny business' face, and can be a little bit scary.

The boys wandered in, possibly on permission, actually, from Galadriel, who is with them, as a matter of fact. They made green tea is companionable silence - their mutual annoyance has been dying off, lately. They drank before her.

Suddenly, there is a pair of adorable toddlers in front of her, looking around, very bewildered.

And Galadriel's tag follows.

Galadriel sighs and picks up the boys, in her arms, leaving her tea behind. As she crosses the threshold, the spell takes effect, and suddenly, the two half-elven toddles are between the paws of a large, sedate and purring lioness.

Shhh, shhh, babies, it's alright, she tells them. It will only last a while.

The babies quiet, and snuggles up the big, furry thing. She's making comforting sounds, after all.

From here on, however, I will only tag the twins or Galadriel, in alternation, as has been done before.

Well, she might nearly step on a black dog who has made up his mind to curl up in the doorway and wait for instruction. He yelps and jumps out of the way, and then skitters back even more at the sudden appearance of a larger and toothy predator, lowering head and body submissively - we wouldn't quite say fearfully.

One of the half-elven babies from between the lionness' paws looks up, curiously, and babbles as the dog, completely unafraid.

Laurel originally intended to drink the black tea, but at the last moment, decided on green instead, in the interest of branching out and trying new things. After all, it seems like change can, despite her prior experience, occasionally have positive results.

Of course, now there is a rather solemn little girl of about eight or nine, looking around in bewilderment.

Here comes Sophie... and when she sees the little girl, she hops up and down, excitedly.

"There's children here!!!! Hello, my name is Sophie! Do you want to play?"

She's usually much more shy. Maybe she took some black tea, accidentally. Someone must have left it lying around.

"Um... play what? Where are we? ...please," she adds, quickly, as if she'd been drilled to.
