Sitting at a table in the room where Alfred landed is a gentleman writing, making notes doggedly, and quite seriously. He hasn't quite paid attention to the noise: when Pascal is working, he is truly in another world.

Borden re-angles himself, subtly, to see the writing, but frowns a bit when he (presumably) sees it is in French. After a moment, he says, "Excuse me, sir."

Aredhel walks by, and when she hears the noise, she steps closely to investigate. She will step out of the door's immediate vicinity when it opens.
