Yep, I know it's dead, but whatever! (Pardon to Fourth Wall for any cracks)

So, I don't know if I fit into this place but the only other Desperate-comm I'd vaguely fit into (Gamers) belongs to my mun and she made a rule that says that my sort of character doesn't fit there so it wouldn't get a whole stack of unknown rabble that may have Mary-Sues amongst them (not that there's any life there anyway ( Read more... )

Hello! So nice to meet you. I'm glad you saved Toril, wherever that was, because it wouldn't be very nice of people to become gods. Tristan always says that you shouldn't trust gods, and you shouldn't trust people who talk about gods, and you definately shouldn't ever follow them anywhere by yourself.

Can you do magic?

Well I don't know about how bad it is for people to become gods, it just depends on what sort of person they were as a mortal and what sort of god they become.
Faerûn has had a few cases of humans-turned-gods in it's history, and even the ones who were evil, if they did their job according to there... charter, for want of a better word, they were... I don't know if I would say fine because the examples I'm talking about are the evil ones, but I guess things stay stable enough.
On the other hand, even good gods can screw up, I've heard there were problems even with my own goddess not living up to her job properly and being unfair. Side effect I think because she was another case of a mortal-turned god as well and she was hanging on too hard to the opinions she had as a mortal.

Though the two people who I stopped, well I don't think they would have done the job right, even if was the office of God of Murder (though I do wish we didn't have to have one of those ( ... )

What? This? *Waves the ball a little* Nothing much, this is a light spell - good for if you're in a dark place.

I don't mind it, there was a nice little theatre I once knew in Athkatla... but the original players moved on and work got buzy on me at the time... *shrugs* but I don't mind attending a play once in a while.

Strange. I would think resurrecting a person who died thinking he was a god would be bad form; to come back to life would feed his delusions.

Sarry had failed and was well aware of it. He actually bargained with me to get me to reserect him and was willing to work for me in hopes of gaining a little power in my wake. He rethought himself over time and is now living a life as a husband and father.
