In today's little heatwave my dear little gentleman made a comment that cracked me up.

"I think I'm going to turn into a cooked chicken".

I just found one of my mother's pay slips.

In 1975 she took home $299.46 as a full time primary teacher in Qld.

I wonder what the rest of the world earnt then.

I set up an automatic savings plan with my online savings acct. I wonder if I'll miss the money.

My washing machine is malfunctioning *cries*, and I have 4 children's worth of clothes to wash, and can't afford to take time off work hanging around for a repair person.

*sob*
