Wasn't feeling up to the meme over the weekend, 'cuz of stuff going on.
Day 27 - Most epic scene ever.
By far, the ending of Xenosaga Episode III. Not the ending ending, but the stuff starting right after the final battle.

Okay, that should be enough for you to skip past, if you don't want spoilers. So, as confusing as everything is in this scene, you have KOS-MOS fighting until she's literally being ripped apart, you have Jin *sniffle* and his sacrifice, you have Allen being badass and protecting Shion (who doesn't deserve it)... what's not awesome about this scene? And it's beautifully animated too.

Day 28 - Favorite game developer.
I've gotta say Atlus. I have yet to find an Atlus game I don't like.
Day 29 - A game you thought you wouldn’t like, but ended up loving.
Ironically, I've gotta say Xenogears. Yeah, I know, really. But when I'd first seen it, I was like "blah, RPG with mechs, who cares?" But Mike made me play it anyway, and obviously I love it.
Day 30 - Your favorite game of all time.
This is hard, and I'm sure everyone's expecting me to say Xenosaga. But I'm not going to. I think I'm going to have to say Tales of the Abyss (Tales of Eternia may beat it, once I finish the game). For one, the story is told in a single game, by a single team. This isn't to say that Xenosaga was hurt by being in 3 games, it was hurt by being in 3 games with different teams in each game. Especially since the art style changed drastically between them (for the record, Episode III has my favorite art style). But Tales of the Abyss told a consistent story, across a single game, with strong characters. And while there is supplementary material that enhances the story, it's not needed to understand the game itself. Yes, reading the interviews that explain why Van wanted Tear and Guy to join him so badly, and what his plan was after he got what he wanted is very useful, it's not like Xenosaga and the guides upon guides upon guides that still don't completely explain everything. And Tales of Eternia is just as good as Abyss, and I haven't even seen any supplemental stuff, other than the manga.
