Debating another Plane character
So, I can't really decide who I want to play, so I thought I'd post and throw out a few ideas, and people could give me feedback.
I'll probably add to the list with more pros and cons later.
Nina Antalk (Chrome Shelled Regios)
Pros
• She's strong-willed and would make a good Enforcer.
• The Regios world is pretty interesting, and would be a good addition to the game.
Cons
• She might be a little too close to Toko in personality.
• I barely understood Regios when I initially watched it, and weird stuff happened in the middle. I'd need to canon review the whole series (which comes out in a week).
Eisen (Harukanaru Toki no Naka de)
Pros
• Might be able to get Erin to app Yasuaki with her.
• I've been looking for an excuse to rewatch and/or reread the series.
• Having a monk character in Plane would add to our religious flavored characters
Cons
• If I'm playing Luc in Plane, and Hisoka in Vat, I don't know if I can handle another character who's awkward with socialization.
• Not sure why he'd stay
• I'd want to play from the manga, but the manga isn't fully translated yet.
Roya (KIBA)
Pros
• She's really fun to play
• Like Nina, the world would be interesting to have in Plane as well
Cons
• High possibility of bleed with Toko (this is why I don't often play female characters)
• Playing her may encourage or discourage me to work on shardcasting, and I'm not sure which I'd prefer.
Karris White Oak (The Lightbringer Series)
Pros
• Like Nina, she'd make a good enforcer
• She's old enough not to bleed with Toko
Cons
• I'd need Gavin to play off of (both ICly and OOCly)
• The long wait for the book again at the library
• I'm not entirely clear on the details on Drafting
Elizabeth Bennet (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies)
Pros
• Not having to worry about bleed with Toko
• I really enjoy playing her.
Cons
• Not sure how well she'd fit into the setting
• Why would she stay?
Blanc Neige (Shining Tears)
Pros
• I love the character
• Having a mage who is a bit more social than Luc would be nice, but she is still haughty
Cons
• I haven't actually finished her canon
• Not sure on why she'd stay
Guy Cecil (Tales of the Abyss - AU)
Pros
• I love playing Guy
• I'm really enjoying this AU I'm building
Cons
• I've got to get the approval from Natalia's mun and the mods, first
• I need to figure out his canon point, and the changes to the original canon up to that point.
• Picking him up would likely invite more wank and attacks, both on me and the game.
Kurosaki Hisoka (Yami no Matsuei)
Pros
• The YnM would would be an awesome addition to Plane.
• If I bring him over, Pan'll probably bring Tsuzuki.
• Getting to play out character development past the end of the series.
Cons
• Apping Hisoka would mean dropping Vat, which I'm on the fence about
• Hisoka and Luc are both asocial, it's hard enough getting CR for one in a game.
Mokona=Larg=Modoki (xxxHOLiC)
Pros
• Mokona Delivery Service
• Mokona is tons of fun to play
Cons
• Need Soel. I'm not gonna play him separately
• Fleshing out his personality. I don't know if I could write four paragraphs for him.
Gimme feedback, or comment on other characters of mine you might like to see. I am debating seeing if I can get the voice for a GA character, but none of the characters have called out to me.
