Alex, I just needed you to know that I am so proud of you. Despite semesters of schooling where you just wanted to hurl yourself out the window for lack of better ways to deal with your classes, working at a mind-numbing job 40 hours a week with ladies twice your age, and dealing with the warden on a daily basis, you've still managed to come through as the most amazing person I know. You feel, you care, you think, you laugh, you smile, you accept, and most of all, you love with all that you are. You're the only person I know who can console an 18 year old girl at 2am because she doesn't know who she is or what she wants to do in life. The wind is yours. You make me fall head over heels for you day in and day out; you are stunning. You of all people should never have to doubt themselves-- you're talented and intelligent and warm and giving. I love you with all that I am and I know that you will do, with a fiery passion, exactly what it is that you were born to do. And on that note, my love, I bid you goodnight. Remember... sweet kisses
