I have lots to update when I eventually get time. But today, I had to at least share this. Sometime between after I left work at 9 pm last night and before I got back in at 8:30 am this morning, a water pipe that ran down the center of the ceiling in our back work-room burst. oh man! I saw a few vague twitters about something happening at CRO but never got the full story. Wow. That sucks, especially since the building isn't that old! I mean, we had the hole in the roof at BDN but that buildings is over 20 years old! Hopefully they have a computer at HDQ they can send to you...at least it wasn't over new books or anything.

Yeah, I think we were all too busy to do much more than a twitter or two (I'm surprised anyone managed that.) Also, too many of us are without computers atm. Sadly, a good few new books died too. =( We've started a card CROWATERDAMAGE or something like that to check out all the damaged ones to. /sigh

I guess that means they must have some kind of book insurance so maybe it won't hurt the library too much to get new stuff. Yuck. I think the people that twittered about it were the evening shifters that were receiving the fun phone calls about what to expect when they got in. What a downer. :(
