[Arthur has been able to get away from duties for a much needed breath of fresh air. He stands on the top of the castle. You know what I mean. Where everyone chills all the time. He's looking down on the knights preparing for the jousting tournament. He's watching Sir Leon leading the knights in their training. He sighs, leaning on the wall ( Read more... )

I want to be down there.

[It's a moment where he freely spoke before he thought, because it's only Morgana here, and he feels sulky, and being king is dumb. That is an incredibly good idea. I'm sure that will certainly convince everyone of our kingdom's stability.

[and although he's doing his best to sound biting or sarcastic, his heart doesn't seem to be into it.]

We do have an enormous number of issues to discuss. We could be stuck behind closed doors for some time. Privately of course, as these things are best discussed privately first before meeting with any advisers. And if there just so happened to be armour and swords in the room we chose, that just couldn't be helped, I'm sure.

[he looks down at his boots, smiling to himself for a second, before looking back up again and pushing himself off the rampart, the smile gone and replaced with a bored look]

I do worry over the state of the armoury. Especially since I asked Merlin to check on it earlier, and knowing Merlin's work ethic I'm sure it requires further examination.

A second set of eyes are always appreciated. Although I will say that you are far too forgiving of Merlin's faults.
