Talia had arrived perhaps five minutes before the scheduled time. She was always early to things. She took a deep breath and knocked at the door. Their secret knock, that one that they agreed on to let each other know it was them in case they were hiding from someone.
But she hadn't the need to hide for quite some time now as she folded her hands in front of her, clutching that little sequin purse her sister made for her and waited.
She almost scolded him for calling her Lady Talia before he corrected himself.
"You know me, I'm always early or on time for everything unless I somehow can't be." She smiled and blushed, looking down at the simple blood red slip dress she'd decided on before stepping inside, kicking her little ballet shoes off, she looked up at him.

Those butterflies just weren't going away.

"Lady Talia. Talia. Hello. You are precise."
He stands there for a second, drinking in the sight of her.
"You are very beautiful tonight."
Eventually, he remembers to stand aside and let her in.

"You look well, as always."

"Wine? You would like some, yes? The red type or the white type?"
