yeah i just never really bring it up. which isn't good because i keep forgetting and then remembering and getting sad. Cappy will be staying in my mother's apartment cuz my dad still doesn't know about him.

Actually some animals are just plain evil and won't love. I'm sorry Cappy doesn't love you, maybe he's still in shock that he's in a new area. I'm sure he will warm up to you. Afterall you are the person that feeds him, you can't necessarily bite the hand that feeds you and expect them to feed you again.
Just smother him with love he'll get the damn message eventually.
