Question: Me being 19. Also include the fact that the reason for dating for most is to find the person you are going to marry. Not to forget that dating someone involves a lot of work. Should I date someone who I know I would never marry? If so, why?

I think it is okay, provided you are not getting the other person's hopes up. And if the joy derived from dating this person is greater than the trouble you have to take to accomplish it, then I think you may as well.

Question: Are you the same woman you were when you were 16? What about when you were 17? 18? When you are 25 who you might want to marry might totally change. There could be an experience in your life, in a relationship that changes your mind about a lot of things, including what you would want in a person you marry. From the Det I know I would say no because at 19, from the stories you told you won't be getting married until you are at least 27, by your choice...that's almost 10 years to find the guy of your dreams. Besides, dating someone you are going to marry will get even faster than what you have...REALLY quickly and that tends to scare you off. If BIG commitment always scares you (not an insult), guys mentioning the words "marriage" turns you off and you still feel you need to grow before you are ready to marry someone and do them justice...why the hell shouldn't you date someone you don't plan on marrying.

Oh...P.S: Mother in-laws are worse <3
