It was a feast that Neal would remember for a long time.
He looked at the faces around the table that had become so important to him. Peter and Elizabeth were lost in their own world, the long-lasting love they shared obvious in the dim lighting. Diana and Jones were laughing at one of Mozzie’s conspiracy theories as June played the perfect hostess and refilled the wine glasses.
It wasn’t the food that Neal would remember, but the people he shared it with, and the memories they were creating. And for the first time, he knew what home felt like.
