CPES won it last year too (Ramy Nassar, a systems eng) - it's super prestigious. Good for you! You get awarded it separately onstage at convocation. (sidenote - other faculties have you "apply" to be nominated)

Thanks. Glad to hear CPES are the nice college that doesn't require application, though I'm rather curious how my name came up at all (my best guess right now is they just consider everyone with an average over X).
