Have you ever kept something running long after it should?

I have a set of headphones that really shouldn't be functional any more. They are a set of Phillips HP-890s that are supposed to look like thisNow for whatever reason my ones have slowly fallen apart, first the housing cracked and fell to pieces, but hey, nothing hot glue couldn't fix,

Reminds me of Skep having to tape up his headset. Why one would fix headphones just to scare the be-jebus out of themselves is completely beyond me though! <3
