So tonight New England Institute Of Art had an event at Boston Public Library where, with help of a brass band, they demonstrated how they used to record to Edison Wax Cylinder. I was doing security for Cobra Starship and Boys Like Girls last night (and will be again tonight). Boys Like Girls? more like Fifteen Year Old Girls Like This Band. No really, the audience did in fact seem to primarily be high school girls with their parents waiting by the bar.
