Minseok is no longer jail bait, with a moustache like that. My heart can't handle it.canadaphileMay 13 2014, 01:17:20 UTC
When you're feeling bad, there is no need to apologise. It's how you feel; you can't really help it, especially when it's work-related. Lots of external goings on with that.
Adult life sucks balls. I give you many points for dealing as best you can and not blowing up at work, in German or English or otherwise.
Just hang in there the best you can. Relax whenever given a chance. Deep breaths.
It's the coolest mustache ever. He should make it permanent.destroyer9119May 13 2014, 02:41:48 UTC
Aww thank you for commenting on my angstiness =). Apologizing for negative feelings is an incredibly difficult thing to do. Or at least it is for me.
Adult life is shit! No one prepares teenagers for the real world, and suddenly it's just BAM! 'We're gonna shove your head into a bucket a feces for the next fifty years, resistance is futile'. It's all ass nuggetry.
I managed to keep myself from blowing up at work today, but there's always tomorrow =).
Thank you and I'll try my best. I hope you're doing well! Deep breaths =).
I bet someone would cut it off in his sleep if he tried to keep it.canadaphileMay 13 2014, 03:06:42 UTC
Your feelings, even negative ones, are valid, so there's nothing to apologise for. This is also your space; use it however you please. (You could even make this into a fanatic deciduous North-western American tree journal. Whatever floats your boat, friend.)
That's what I cannot stand! You're maybe told in college "Oh, by the way? You need to know a lot of people and have worked since high school in order to get a job, and you're probably going to hate the job, because it's going to be whatever we old folks give you. Do the work; don't talk back. Still ask to use the bathroom." Like, you're still a child but with greater expectations of responsibility put on you. It's bullcrap.
Just keep breathing. Maybe do some stretches at your desk. It's just another day; it'll end. Things change.
I can just see Kyungsoo/Luhan/A Manager sneaking into Minseok's room with a battery operated razor.destroyer9119May 13 2014, 03:37:55 UTC
In theory I know that, but in practice there's a little voice in my head reminding me that bottling up negative emotions is how I was raised, and when I was a kid letting unhappiness out into the word was practically a sin. It's a hard habit to break
( ... )
Venting is the way to go. And if you want to vent on here, then vent here, this is your place. You can do what the hell you want.
Being a grown up sucks ass and taking responsibility for not only yourself but others is just scary. I hate being a grown up. Why do kids wish to be adults or older? I wish I was little and small again and didn't have to think about money, work, shopping, bills, people constantly asking why I'm not in a relationship, taxes (why the fuck aren't we warned about taxes when we're younger?!) etc
But unfortunately we can only go forward. No backsies. We just have to roll with the punches (I really hate the punches though).
Hope you are feeling better after letting it all out. Just take a deep breath and try to go to a place inside yourself that isn't affected by all the bullshit that life is trying to throw at you.
