If you mean since around when they first went major, then yes, a bit. It's gotten a bit lower; he can't go as high as he used to, not really. Sometimes he gets a bit of strain if he pushes it too hard. I wish he'd stop smoking already. >_<;;;

not just that though, comparing GIANIZM 2010 album to -historical-, his tone seems to have changed to something quite different...

Oh, that's probably just some effect or something they used when they were mixing the music. Voices can be stylized to sound differently, according to the feel of the music. He doesn't sound much different to me in person, though.
