in character information.

series: Knights of the Old Republic
name: Revan
sex: F
age: 37
race: God Human
height: 5'8”
weight: 150lbs
canon point: About 5 years post-game, during her imprisonment on Dromund Kaas.
previous cr: Nope!

history: Background! I've been given permission to app Revan as a female, regardless of the male background. Everything is the same for a female Revan except for the relationship. She was with Carth Onasi, not Bastila Shan.

personality:
First and foremost, Revan is extremely intellectual. Her pursuit of knowledge is what has led her to become exactly who she is. The more she learned, the more powerful she became. Not simply through her abilities in the Force, but her ability to manipulate the situations around her. While most intellectuals remain sort of cold and and impersonal in their pursuit of knowledge, Revan is more charismatic than cold. People are attracted to her, perhaps not physically, but they are definitely attracted to what she is. This charisma, however, has definitely served a great purpose in Revan's life, who has used it to manipulate people into fighting for her, to believing in her cause, whatever that might be. She was even able to turn Jedi and former soldiers of the the Republic military on their own people, simply by inspiring such great loyalty to herself. She manipulates people into doing what she wants, and she doesn't care how it hurts them. In fact, if they break while doing her work, she casts them aside as useless and finds the next person to drag into her schemes.

On the surface, Revan is a hella troll. Especially now, after falling to the dark side and being redeemed. Most Jedi, and those that know of the Force, believe there is only the Light and the Dark side of things. Well, Revan most definitely, and completely, lives in that tiny morally gray area in between. She will do whatever she has to to get things done, but at the same time, she will do what it takes to keep people safe. This can lead to what may be determined as a bit of social ignorance. She doesn't like authority and never has. Trust that she will be quick to point out every fault, every weakness, if she cares enough to do so.

Revan does care about others, enough to want to protect them. She's still thought of as a great war hero, who saved the Republic from the hands of the Mandalorians, and later from her own apprentice, Darth Malak, when it turned out that the galaxy was in danger. She has friends, inspires allies, but she doesn't seem to grow deep attachments. There is a bigger picture out there, and she sees the entire thing rather than individual pieces as her end goal. So while she may care for an individual, she will not hesitate to overlook them for the greater good of everyone. The Force-and the galaxy-is what she belongs to. Because of this, she may do things that seem questionable, but this goes back to her moral ambiguity. Maybe she doesn't particularly care about the horrors she's done, but then again, those were all for good reasons. She was trying to make the galaxy stronger by attempting to conquer it.

Or maybe it's because the Jedi Council completely stripped her mind of every memory she's ever had, implanted a false life, and sent her back into the galaxy in the hopes that she would remember just enough to help them defeat the Sith.

Revan is confident. She's been told her entire life that she has unlimited potential, that her power in the Force is extraordinary, and what had gone to a young teenage girl's head to boost her ego has never quite left, even after the mind wipe. She is also, in no way, humble about it. She thinks she's better, and she will say that she's better, and that is that. She doesn't need to hold pissing contests, and she definitely doesn't need to prove her abilities to anyone. Unless it's fun and it serves a purpose. It's stated in the sequel to the game, by one of Revan's masters, that she was like the very heart of the Force.

abilities/powers:
All of Revan's powers and abilities. But I'll go ahead and try to summarize them.

Being one of the most gifted practitioners of the Force, Revan is extremely powerful. Having been both on the Dark Side and the Light Side, she has a wide array of abilities that span across both sides. And she's really not afraid to use them. Some abilities include:

-Force whirlwind
-Force choke
-Force storm
-Force heal
-Jedi Mind Trick
She's a skilled warrior, able to fight not only with her lightsaber, but hand to hand combat, regular blades, and she knows her way around a gun. Her skills also extend to mechanics (she once built her own assassin robot, top of the line, one of a kind until people thought to copy her HK-47) and racing.

She's a brilliant strategist, intelligent, and has a mind for languages (she can basically use the Force to rip a language from the mind of the person she's speaking with and instantly learns it).

first person sample:
[The woman on the feed looks mildly amused, her mouth twisted in a smirk as she looks into the video.] My, my. Isn't this intriguing? Outdated, but intriguing. [She pauses, surveying the area curiously, one eyebrow rising up slowly.] It feels like I'm on a backwater planet.

Last I remember, I've been in a cell on the Sith planet, Dromund Kaas. [And that's been... She doesn't even know. How many years? How much time has even passed since she's been trapped in that place? The smirk falls as she runs a hand over her face and through her greasy hair.]

If any of the Order is here, this is Jedi Master Revan, requesting information. Where are we, how did we get here, what year is it? How is the state of the Republic?

third person sample:
Revan wore an expression of ease and general nonchalant attitude, but inside, she was furious. Perhaps if another with the Force were around, they'd notice it. Or anyone here knew her, they could read it in her body language, the way her back was too stiff, the way her fingers casually tapped along the hilt of the lightsaber clipped to her hip. This was not where she was meant to be. What did she care of a war between gods? Nothing, less than nothing. She had her own problems to take care of, hazy memories that came in short bursts, reminding her of the greatest threat waiting to prey upon hergalaxy like a cannock waiting for some idiot to stumble in its path.

Pathetic gods, she thought as she sat down in a clearing, laying her lightsaber across her lap. But there was part of her that respected them, their power and presence. Deep down, there was a flicker of something dormant, something inside of her that needed their power, to be one of them. They weren't so different, she figured. At least, them and Darth Revan weren't so different.

Her eyes closed as she rested her hands on her thighs.

Still, admiration was not going to get her sent home any faster, and it wasn't in the hardened woman to grovel and worship anyone who wasn't herself. She belonged to the Force. Gods paled in the all-encompassing Force. If she was to be the tool of the Force's will, then she had to believe that this was the will.

She was meant to be here. And she would do her best to survive, as always.

Finally, her mind cleared until she was open to her surroundings, entering into a peaceful meditation.
