the other day in chinese medicine class, the acupuncture demonstrator person wanted to show us what qi was so she had us measure our hands, palm to palm, to show that our right and left hands were about the same size. then she had us stick one hand out and start yearning for something.
i thought about you and all those times i wanted to talk to you, and wanting to be with you now and living with you.
then she told us to bring the hand back and measure it with the other hand again. and the yearning hand got a little bit longer.
crazy, eh?
