Collectormania10
Yay! So I so I went to Collectormania10 yesterday and it was pretty cool! :D
Amy and I decided (okay so it was actually Amy's idea) not to bother sleeping the night before so we ended up watching SG1, SGA and NCIS until stupid o'clock in the morning! Thank God for Coke and RedBull!!!
The drive up was pretty uneventful and the weather was shitty all day! When we finally got there we grabed our tickets and then found Jane and her posse who jumped on Amy as soon as they saw her! Heehee. Saw Jeni as well which was really cool as I haven't seen her since she went to Oz, shame we didn't really get much time to sit and chat. Teekay finally arrived, after his detour around London, with his friend Liz who I kept wanting to call Lisa for some reason?! Anyway she was really cool, and I hope she enjoyed herself as it was her first collectormania.
So I finally got round to meeting Juliet Landau who was the most amazing person ever! She was soo friendly and chatting it was really refreshing (Not that other past/present guests aren't, but most aren't really all that chatting, its pretty much a nice to meet you, sign, maybe a picute and thats it) She asked me how my morning had been and who else I was seeing, and she talked about how nice it was to see other people she knew from Buffy/Angel who she hadn't seen in ages and how it was a like a school reunion! :D
After lunch at Maccy D's (My God I love that Maccy D's! No matter how many people are in there and it usually is really packed because of the con, you get served, given your food and out again before you even realise! lol and they are friendly with it - I just wish Portsmouth MD's was more like that! lol) I went to see Louis Gossett Jr who is such a big star I was suprised to see him at such a con. He was really nice as well to meet but not as chatty as Juliet was.
After meeting up with Tee and Liz again we went to go see Lance Henriksen who was really nice as well, but he wasn't posing for pics so I didn't get one with him which was a shame but he was still a really nice guy! :D
So over all had a really nice day, brought Hayley some pressies, and got myself some photo prints of JAG and NCIS, and some Blueberry poptarts from the shop that sells inported american food (They didn't have any mountain dew this time thou **pouts**) Finally found Jane and Mo wondering about and had a great chat to them before we went home and slept all the way back in the car! Heehee!
Can't wait for London Expo next month ARI!!!! & John Shep!!!! woo :D:D:D
