The weather this past month has really made me angry
Really. I feel frustration toward unknown forces that cause the weather. According to weather.com, Fremont in May should average highs around 71-73...but every day, it's 66, 64, 68, 67...arrrgh. After being awake for about 22 hours, I went to sleep yesterday at about 1 p.m. Some time later (while I was dead asleep) my Dad opened the garage door and yelled out towards my room "Hey Kev, you wanna go get some food?".
I groggily mumbled "ugghh...what time is it?".
He said "Almost 6".
Still half dead, I asked "AM or PM?" -
Disease is expensive
I didn't go to a doctor this time, because I surmised that there was little they could do to help. Instead, I've tried to manage the malaise myself. I've bought a bunch of vitamins and OTC meds (which are largely worthless). Yesterday, my pathetic state of distress convinced me to buy a humidifier. Treatment for viral bronchitis cracks me up. You're supposed to get plenty of rest and drink lots of fluids. The fluids aren't a problem. I'm gulping six or seven bottles of water a day, and the only complaint about it I have is that it's gotta come out eventually. Finally, warmth!
This has been the nicest weather week of the year (by far). Yesterday actually felt more like late spring than early spring. Hoping it keeps up. -

Every day, cold cold cold. Weather.com says it will be cold for the next week (at least). Why?!? Not cloudy cold either. Sunny cold. How can it be cold in March with the sun shining every day ( Read more... ) -
