Next time you send around Crimson Mask around, just send Chapter 1 (don't rewrite Ch 1, just send it out as is.)

Once you have an interested party who wants to see the whole book send it to them with the prologue.

Maybe, as the story is not going to remain high fantasy, you should retool it, so we get more of the secret genre-bending plot twist in the first episode. Sherri S. Tepper has done alot of that sort of thing... "Beauty", "The Family Tree", "Gibbon's Decline and Fall". I could see low fantasy, sci-fi, young adult, or even general literature publishers wanting it in that form.

I'm not really certain how to hint at it without revealing it. Or even after revealing it, making it pertinent to the plot.

Hold out a little longer. I'm not done yet. ;)
