Hooray! DH's second sock is done!!!! Yay me. I finished the cowl I was working on as well so next winter, my college roommate will have a warmer neck. So DH has decided this year we MUST have a garden. I am the person with the most gardening experience in the house and that was just as Mom's helper and chief grumbler. Babycake's shots went well. Justin and I had to pin a 13.5 month old toddler down to allow the Dr to check his ears.  We even had a nurse come in to see what was wrong.  LOL- nothing- just abusive parents.  Then we had the fun of pinning Aydin to receive  a shot in each leg.  Suckers/Lollipops make everything better though.  A trick to learn for ( Read more... )

I swear, I do 3 rows on a sock then I switch to my baby blanket I'm knitting on BIG needles, then it's that blankety blank blank reversible/double sided knit, to a crochet adult afghan and back to the sock.  Very few get more than 3 rows.  One project only gets 1 row done ( Read more... )

It's official.  Starting the bookmark a 7th time now!  Only Now it's going to be a pattern from a book I was loaned.  Hooray! I'm figuring out what I was doing wrong!

Even if it kills me- I'm going to learn double knitting. You know the one, where the same pattern shows up on the other side only in the opposite color scheme.
