If you could do one thing different, what would it be?

We kind of talked about this at lunch yesterday, but recently I've been rethinking my career choice so many years ago. Maybe if I wasn't a cop, my marriage wouldn't have gone to shit. But, even though I know what happened, I don't know if I would seriously change anything. Obviously, if Kathy and I couldn't handle my job, then other things could have factored in if I had a different job.

Changing the past is always dangerous. *smiles* If it weren't for what happened to me... I might not be with Eric now... *she shrugs*

It really is. Because when you change the past for the bad, you change all of the good that happened, as well. And that makes it not worth it.

I'm going to be incredibly cheesy and say that it was each of my children's births. I cannot think of a happier time, really. They were times of one emotion. And that emotion would be happiness. What I would give for that feeling again...but not in the form of childbirth!
