Cole was sitting on the couch sipping a cup of coffee. Max was running back and forth from his room to the living room each time carrying a different toy. It was funny for Cole to watch especially since he was pretty sure Ellie wouldn't care about the toys.

"Settle down Max. They'll be here in a minute,"Cole chuckled.

Alex, carrying a well wrapped-up Ellie in one arm, and a bag on her shoulder, walked up to Cole's apartment. Still wearing her new boots from David- any excuse to wear them. She knocked on the door.

Cole headed to the door pulling it open to smile at them. "Hey you two."

Max practically tackled Cole from behind waving at them from between Cole's legs.

"Hey," Alex smiled. Ellie grinned, and Alex let her down to the ground. She squealed with delight.

"How are you?" Alex asked, with a smile, stepping inside.

Max waved at Ellie,"Come on Ellie come see all my toys."

Cole moved to let her in closing the door behind her,"I'm good. How are you?"
