This was not what I was expecting. Around 10p, Cragen came knocking on my door with some papers that a lawyer had tried to deliver to me at the station. The ex-pro, Gladys, gave me Power of Attorney over her baby and she's gone away for an undetermined amount of time. So that baby and everything about it is my responsibility. She chose the easy way out by forcing you to decide. There's no way in hell the baby should've been left alive merely on the off chance that she'd return. Even if she did, then what? You did the right thing.

I know I did. And I do believe she was running and she's probably turning tricks in A City now. But this baby... It was almost cruel to deliver it. She didn't even weigh a pound, she couldn't breathe or swallow on her own. I mean, just ... Well, you know what I mean.

People are selfish when it comes to kids. They think...just because they're their own DNA makes them...entitled. And yet...when it comes to caring for them...
