What does your counselor think? Have you considered any kind of meds for social anxiety? (I can't remember if you're opposed to that kind of thing, which I can understand).
Can you maybe write your boss a note asking for concrete written feedback? That might help him clarify what he'd like from you, and it would give you a chance to think about it when you're alone and can maybe manage things better. Sometimes email can help me, asking a coworker to be specific about what they want and expect.
unfortunately I don't go to counseling anymore, I had to give it up when I got the job at Target...which yeah ironically I quit like a week later but I wasn't going to try and get back into the group after I said I was leaving and hadn't been there for like 2 weeks, that wouldn't be fair to the group. I wouldn't mind taking meds if I needed them and had tried other things, but I don't know if I DO I mean do I really have social anxiety to the point I need to be considering meds?
I probably should talk to him more about ways to improve, or ask some of the counselors who have worked with me for more specific feedback but I'm just becoming so disheartened by it all that part of me just wants to give up all together.
