So when I got to work today the boss asked to talk to me, he told me again how I wasn't where they were hoping I would be with the training which yeah, I already knew. However, he offered me a position working in the cat room instead, I took it. It's one less hour and I get paid a little less then I did as an adoption counselor but he said he

Things have a way of working out. Nothings to say that you can't start out in the cat area and eventually move into the area that you're most interested in [HUGS]

yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Although I like cats I think I like dogs a little more so I wouldn't mind working in the kennels should such a position arise. The cats are nice though...some more than others some are sort of mean but a lot are very sweet.

There are also two rooms with social cats in them, the first has like 5 and the cats while nice are pretty stereotypically "cat like" some will let you pet them but they have to come to you and only if they FEEL like it. The second one though has about 8 cats and THEY swarm when you sit down which is fun...a couple also try very hard to escape haha.
